Mr. Deepak Asher

Mr Deepak Asher is a Commerce and Law graduate, and a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant by profession. He has worked for the Inox Group of Companies, a (then) US $ 3 billion business group, for more than thirty-five years. At the time of retirement, he held the position of Director & Group Head (Corporate Finance) for the Group and sat on the Boards of more than 10 companies, of which 3 were listed, and 2 were international joint ventures, of one of which he was the Chairman.

Mr Asher’s functional area of expertise included Growth, Diversification, Business Strategy and Corporate Finance.

He was a part of the key management team that oversaw the growth of its refrigerant business, through several rounds of capacity expansions, as well as forward and backward integration into advanced engineering plastics and critical raw materials. He was the key driver behind setting up Inox, a national chain of world class multiplex cinema theatres across the country, and has been the founder President of the Multiplex Association of India, for more than two decades. He single-handedly set up the Group’s Clean Development Mechanism project, a pathbreaking, first-in-class project that catapulted the Group’s revenues, while significantly improving the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Mr Asher was also involved in the implementation of the Group’s renewable energy business.

Prakash Narayan

Prakash is the CTO of 3KTechnologies, where he is actively involved in working with customers ranging from Startups to Fortune 100 companies to deliver solutions to their problems. He started his career at Sun Microsystems as an engineer in the compiler group. He held several positions at Sun. During his time at Sun, he co-authored a book (published by Pearson) “Implementing SOA applications using Java EE” and was awarded several patents. Prakash became an entrepreneur when he left Sun in 2009 to co-found Micello as their CTO.  The German outdoor map provider, Here Technologies, acquired Micello. He went on to become the CTO of  IntelliVision, a company that provides fine-grained video analytics. The wireless security and home automation company, Nortek Security acquired IntelliVision in May 2018.

Prakash is a member of the Angel Investor group Keiretsu Forum and TiE Angels. He volunteers his time in several entrepreneur-focused organizations, including TiE Silicon Valley and ATEA.

Mr. Oren Eliezer

Dr. Oren Eliezer received the BSEE and MSEE degrees from Tel-Aviv University, Israel, in 1988 and 1996 respectively, and his doctorate degree from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2008. He served as an officer in the Israel Defense Forces from 1988 to 1994, where he specialized in wireless communications, and after his military service cofounded Butterfly VLSI Ltd and served as the company’s

chief engineer. Following its acquisition by Texas Instruments in 1999, he was relocated to Dallas in 2002 and was elected Senior Member of the Technical Staff.

Since 2009 he has been involved in several startup companies in the Dallas area, and has provided consultancy to several companies and universities. He has authored and coauthored over 60 journal and conference papers and over 40 patents and has given over 60 invited talks and seminars.
